Celebration of the Synod of all the Vatopedi Holy Fathers

According to the Athonite order, the Festival on the feast of the Synaxion of all the Vatopedi Saints began on Sunday, July 22, at the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi.

The Holy Services were presided over by His Eminence Bishop Porphyrios of Neapolis, Director of the Office of the Church of Cyprus to the European Union.

His Eminence Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea also attended the Small Vespers and prayed together. On the morning of Monday, July 23, the Eucharistic Synod was presided over by His Eminence Bishop Porphyrios of Neapolis, flanked by the Abbots of the Holy Monastery of Karakalos, Elder Philotheos, and the celebrating Great Monastery of Vatopedi, Elder Ephraim, and a multitude of Hieromonks of the Athonite State.

The right choir was flanked by the Fathers of Caracalla, while the left choir was flanked by the hieromonk Fr. Antipas and the Fathers of Vatopedi. Many fathers and pilgrims came to the Monastery on the occasion of the feast of the Vatopedi Saints.

Among them, Father Hilarion from the New Skete, Father Palladios, who also served as the canon during the sacred services, and Fathers Chrysostomos and Arsenios from the Skete of Koutloumousiou and others came for the celebrations.
