It was a poetic association of our national poet, Kostis Palamas. A question with a certain affirmative answer at the time, as yet another confirmation of the universally known simplicity and exquisite purity of the Cypriot soul!

Today, if the same question were posed, in a problematic search for an answer, given contemporary phenomena and hearsay, it could easily oscillate between yes and no.

If we take into account that Cyprus claims one of the leading positions in corruption among the member states of the European Union, then the above new problem in the claimed answer is not strange.

Like, it is not at all strange, through the general rot that prevails in Cyprus, that the mushroom of Satanism should emerge, with the well-known song that will represent Cyprus in the next European contest. It is simply the icing on the cake of general corruption.

It is the only natural result that one could expect. Since Cyprus is at the forefront of doing the works of the devil - and therefore at the forefront of corruption - it is natural to expect it to also highlight the God it worships and submits to. Which is none other than the devil!

But is that really the case? Does the majority of the people of Cyprus still remain pure and clean? Are the leaders simply responsible for the corruption and the induced satanism and do not express the mindset of the people they supposedly represent and their values? How can there be so much erosion in the consciences of the Cypriots, that from an island of saints and a friend of Christ, it has become an island of corruption and a slave to the devil?

We dare to say with certainty that no! It is not possible that this desecration has taken place! Unworthy minds, having a seared conscience, have simply infiltrated key positions and they are tarnishing the image of the Cypriot people and are unduly insulting and dishonoring its sacred and sacred places.

Whom the Cypriot people must marginalize in order to save their Christ-centered Tradition, their holiness, their nobility, their honor and dignity. In order to prove themselves worthy successors of their pure ancestors. Because they walk on the bones of saints and righteous, friends of Christ. And this Tradition - which is both an honor and a responsibility for themselves and their children - they cannot gamble with, nor cast it off them as a foreign body. Because they are bone of their bones and flesh of their flesh! It is the truth of his being, it is the light of his life, it is his path to the eternal Kingdom of God, the point of metaphysical intersection, attraction, ignition and inspiration of all his parallel temporal actions and earthly energies, it is this very life of his.
