Analogia; The new Academic Theological Journal of Pemptousia

Pemptousia and the Saint Maximus the Greek Institute are in the highly honorable position of presenting the new publishing effort in the English language, the Review of Theological Discourse RATIO (Analogy). Η Ratio (www.analogiajournal.com) which is the academic arm of Pemptousia, is an international academic journal whose publication is based on content approved by a body of expert reviewers. It is a project dedicated to the scholarly exposition and discussion of the theological principles of the Christian faith. The Ratio It aims to promote dialogue between Orthodoxy and the views and concerns expressed by Western theological and philosophical thought. Another goal is to provide an academic framework for the further examination and study of common Christian sources.

Although the primary focus is on issues of theological and philosophical interest, the content of the Analogy will not be limited to these disciplines. To the extent that it seeks to cultivate theological dialogue and engagement with the urgent challenges and questions posed by modernity, reflections and inquiries from a range of other disciplines, including the natural and social sciences, will also be taken, and contributions of an interdisciplinary nature are certainly welcome. And all this in a context that will reveal the authentic interest of Orthodox theology in responding to the concerns and concerns that concern modern man.

Η Ratio is syndicated and is printed in English three times a year, in the months of September, January and May and, like the Quintessence, published by the "Saint Maximus the Greek" Institute.

Η Ratio is a kind donation of Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi.

Its first issue, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, has already been published.
