The Church stands by large families in times of crisis

The cutting of the royal cake was held by the Association of Large Families of Rodopi Prefecture on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Papanikolaou Foundation.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Maroneia and Komotini and the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi.

During the event, awards were given to young mothers of many children and to children of large families who excelled during the 2017-2018 school year.

Also, children who were admitted to higher education schools and those who distinguished themselves in artistic - athletic or other competitions.

At the cutting of the royal cake, the Association had the pleasure of hosting the Abbot of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, Archimandrite Ephraim, who, by decision of the Holy Monastery, awarded the students and their mothers with monetary prizes.
