Kiosk

11.05.2011

Near the gate of the Monastery, at the northern end of the plateau that stretches out in front of it, is the kiosk. It is a building with a stone-built ground floor, which has storage space, and an open structure on the upper floor, where the possibility of rest and view is offered. From historical sources we know that the kiosk already existed in the mid-18th century, while an inscription in the middle of the south wall informs us that it was renovated in 1780. In 1960, its floor was completely reconstructed and the wooden supports were replaced by reinforced concrete.
