The representative office (conakry)
11.05.2011
The representative office (konaki) is one of the four seats that the Vatopedi Monastery has in the settlement of Karya. Until last year (2000) the representative office was housed in a three-story neoclassical building of large dimensions, with a propylon supported by four pillars. At its southern end is a single-aisled chapel with a dome, which is dated based on an inscription on the lintel of the entrance to 1882. The other three cells are dedicated to Saint Charalambos, the Ascension and Saint Nicholas.
