Able to taste them

All the promises of God constitute an inexpressible gift of God to man. But only he who cooperates fully with God, who identifies his will with the will of God, who transcends all pettiness, selfishness and passion that draws him towards the land of evil, who shows the necessary courage to win in this invisible war, becomes capable of tasting these ineffable blessings and gifts of God.
